Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences,
strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover
from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions.
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution;
does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

PAPER AND RECYCLING OPPORTUNITY
The First United Methodist Church of East Greenbush, located at the corner of Hayes and Gilligan roads, has recently acquired 2 paper recycling bins; we invite members of the Greenbush Reformed Church to use them, if they wish. The bins are supplied by GreenFiber Company, a USA-based corporation which manufactures insulation material for buildings out of recycled paper. All kinds of paper are accepted; a list on the side of the bin includes all “acceptable items”: Newspapers, cereal boxes, phonebooks, magazines, office paper, brown paper bags, cardboard and construction paper. Unacceptable items include boxes with food on them, e.g. pizza boxes; a list of these is also on the side of the bin. The bins are located in the parking lot of the church, close to Goff School. If you have questions, please call Matie Flowers, 477-5645 or Barbara Spink, 479-0713.
